Sprite Reader

I put together a little example due to some posts on the GMC in a text-reading example topic I posted a while ago about whether I could make it work for sprites.  I did a little work, and although it's horrendously slow, it still works pretty well.  I wish I could make it better, but for some reason, I happened to be saving to the zip file I downloaded my old version in and it didn't save any of my progress...  So, basically all I've got is an .exe.  Anyways, try it out and tell me what you think (by the way, the picture is going to be the head of the first boss in Solanum).

I haven't downloaded it yet, but will do so soon and want to know before hand: what does it do exactly?

It takes an image (if you download the .gmk here: http://willhostforfood.com/?Action=download&fileid=84907/ you can put in your own) and splits it into pixel objects that you can change the shape, color, size, etc. of and move around independent of one another. It works with animated sprites and is pretty cool, but also incredibly slow (darn you draw_get_pixel()!) Anyways, try it out and tell me what you think!

It's slow - as you've said - but it is pretty neat!

Unfortunately, I don't really know what use it'd have in a game, or even an image editor ...

Yeah, it's not very useful at all, I just kind of wanted to try making it ^_^ Of course, if it got fast enough, it would make a pretty cool destroy effect!
